libipmiconsole-dev software package provides GNU IPMI - ipmiconsole development package, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libipmiconsole-dev
libipmiconsole-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libipmiconsole-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libipmiconsole-dev *
You will get with libipmiconsole-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
